Johnny serves as Executive Vice President.  Prior to joining The Helvetica Group in April of 2007, Mr. Camarena was a founding member for Fieldstone Mortgage Company.  Joining Fieldstone in July of 1996, Mr. Camarena was instrumental in developing a national production and operation distribution for the publically traded lender. Mr. Camarena helped take Fieldstone from less than a million dollars in production to over 6 billion dollars annually. Mr. Camarena served as a Senior Vice President for Fieldstone earning such distinguished honors as Leader of the Year, Most Profitable Region, and Manager of the Year. Prior to joining Fieldstone, Mr. Camarena founded Atlantic Pacific Bancorp, a mortgage brokerage firm where he served as General Manager. Mr. Camarena has over 17 years in the mortgage lending space having served positions with American Residential Mortgage Corporation and Long Beach Bank.

Mr. Camarena also was a founding member of BnC Enterprises, a publishing and distributing company base in Boulder, Colorado. While a partner at BnC Enterprises, Mr. Camarena developed another nationwide sales and distribution network as a collegiate entrepreneur. As a result, Mr. Camarena was voted a top collegiate entrepreneur by ACE in 1989. He earned his undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts at Colorado University. Mr. Camarena is an active member with several state broker associations and the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. He has earned his Certified Mortgage Bankers designation from the MBA.
